I think white is essential for a beginner. Maybe because you are already a pro that's why you are annoyed with white being included in a beginner palette 😅

To me. Holbein are best at everything they do. There pencils are even better than prismacolor and caran d'ache. I bet it was amazing there, Japan is my dream hooiday 💞💞💞

Uni Mitsubishi pencils are special because they don't smudge easily and the graphite doesn't have the super shiny sheen! That's 2 of their defining qualities and what makes them stand out from regular, cheap pencils. The Uni pencils are affordable and great quality. I highly recommend you try them out some more and I personally like the way they interact with watercolors but, to each their own.

Holy cow, this may be your best one yet! The colours are so dreamy... I've really been loving this series of paintings, the more subtle allusions to the zodiac signs makes for such a fresh and interesting take on each one.

Wow this process was so soothing to watch. I love how you did the waves, so stunning! And the color palette! And the gloves 😍 I can‘t really give tips on successfully being self employed, because having been self employed is what got me diagnosed with adhd 😬 But maybe my experience is valuable to some. I struggled so so much to schedule things and even more to actually do them. I became stressed & depressed with too much time on my hands I wasn’t able to use. The lack of structure was not good for me, structuring myself somehow didn‘t work. After I got diagnosed, I was able to develop some strategies to be able to produce work, but it was still difficult. Mind you I wasn‘t working as an indie artist but as a personal trainer with an instagram presence and my YT channel here is proof of me never actually getting into it properly and changing the business name like 3-4 times 🫣 I‘m now at school to become a physiotherapist and due to my experience of working independently, I am able to make a decision that works better for me for when I‘m done: work part time employed and part time self employed, so I can always rely on my part time employed income and have less pressure for the self employed part. I love the freedom of self employed work, but I need structure part time of my week to actually make use of the freedom. Also my self employed part time work is allowing me to make a decent amount of money on the side while being in school, because I optimized limited time-output for maximal money-input for my adhd 😅 It also helps if you are some sort of „specialist“ in your niche that people eventually look to for knowledge/skill/etc. this frees you a little from having to constantly overexert yourself with and allows you research-time to improve the quality of your work, making people be interested in what you have to offer even more
